Natural Gas Furnaces
You depend on your furnace to keep your family warm and comfortable. Welter Heating and Air Conditioning, Minneapolis, Minnesota’s heating and cooling expert, trusts only Trane natural gas furnaces for durability and reliability—and to ensure maximum comfort and energy efficiency on event the coldest days.
Chances are, if your furnace is more than 15 years old, it’s probably only 60-70% efficient, which means that 30-40% of every dollar you spend on fuel might be wasted. Trane furnaces are quiet and cost less to operate as their high AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency) ratings will actually convert 95%, 90%, or 80% of the fuel you pay for into usable heat for your home.
What’s more, your Trane natural gas furnace will work with your central air conditioner to circulate cool air in the summer.
If it’s time to service or repair your natural gas furnace, or time for installation of a new system, call our Minneapolis, MN-based home heating experts at 612-825-6867.

See individual product brochures for more detailed features, including:
- Variable-Speed Blower Motor with Comfort-R™ Humidity Control. Operates at lower, more efficient speeds than conventional blower motors and provides greater humidity control during cooling.
- Four-Speed Blower Motor.
- Two-Stage Gas Heat. Two-stage furnaces don’t frequently stop and start (called short-cycling), typically running at the first stage (65% of capacity) up to 80% of the time. This provides for quieter operation and consistent, even heating since it runs longer at the lowest, energy-saving level. When more heat is needed, the second stage is called upon for added comfort. Plus, after the heating cycle, two-stage furnaces continue to run for a few moments to make sure the heat left in the exchanger is used to warm your home.
- Two-Stage Gas Valve. Provides only as much fuel as each stage requires for greater efficiency and quiet comfort.
- Single-Stage Gas Heat.
- High-Efficiency Continuous Fan Mode.
- High-Efficiency Motor. Saves in gas and electricity used to heat your home.
- Adaptive Silicon Nitride Hot Surface Igniter.More reliable than standard igniters. Automatically adjusts as your system operates to improve fuel efficiency and respond to your comfort needs.
- Multi-Port, In-Shot Burners.Perfectly shapes the flame cone for the maximum heat possible while using less fuel.
- Automotive-Grade Gaskets with Insulated Blower Compartment.Help reduce sound and air leakage.
- Primary Heat Exchanger.Crimped, not welded, to prevent stress cracks from heat. Made from heavy-duty aluminized steel for long life.
- Secondary Heat Exchanger.Designed to be corrosion resistant and capture more of the heat you pay for.
- Self-Diagnostic Microelectronic Control.Control every function with digital accuracy, complete with safety features and a built-in troubleshooting system.
- Direct Vent Option.Uses 100% outdoor air for fresh air, reducing heat exchanger corrosion and ensuring adequate combustion air.
